1. The artwork that was my most successful was the clay sphere. The reason I believe that this one was the most successful was because of the fact that it was actually meant for something. The design in it wasn't just like random lines for instance. It was made for my girlfriend.

2. The artwork I think I overcame the most obstacles would have to be the clay slab. One obstacle for instance would be the just taking out and not being able to put back any clay. I messed up on one of my designs, and had to make it to another design that ended up fixing it.
3. The two pieces that show my growth in comparison is my clay box and my clay slab. The clay box was something that I really didn't take completely serious, and the neatness on it is not very good. But when you look at my clay slab, there is a significant difference. The neatness on the slab is a lot better. There is actually order instead of a bunch of random designs.
4. This year was kind of hard using only clay because sometimes clay doesn't cooperate all the time. It was interesting using this on some artwork because it obviously looks better on some things than other. When we started carving out of clay, it was difficult to be able to carve away with little to no mistakes. One frustrating thing was having to redo a piece of artwork or having to change my design because I would mess up on carving. But the upside to only using this was that I was able to learn more about one substance and able to see what i like in it.
